- 250 grams of rice
- 1 liter of whole milk
- 200 grams of sugar
- 1 zest of lemon
- 1 cinnamon stick
Place the milk, the sugar, cinnamon stick and lemon zest in a saucepan and bring to boil
Add the rice to the milk and cook on slow heat until the rice is tender and the milk mixture turns creamy
Make sure to stir often if the rice is not fully cook and the sauce is thickening add a little hot milk until rice is tender
Take out the cinnamon stick and lemon zest
Serve in a bowl and sprinkle some cinnamon on top.
Above recipe serves 4 and takes about 30-40 minutes to prepare.
