Spanish Almendrados Recipe
Chop the almonds leaving about 10 of them whole
Preheat the over to 200° degrees
Beat the egg whites " a punto de nieve" until stiff and glossy
Mix the chopped almonds, egg whites and sugar
With a spoon place the mix on to a baking pan and place a half an almond (of the ones we left whole) in the middle of each cookie
Place the baking pan in the oven, lower the temperature to 180° degrees and bake for 20 minutes
Take them out of the oven, let them cool and enjoy....
